Paris Hilton Blames Network for Reality Show Ratings

It's not because she lacks talent. And it's not because she's a self-centered socialite who drinks, does drugs and pretends like her sex tape wasn't the best thing to ever happen to her.

Nope. The reason why so few viewers tuned in to Paris Hilton's reality show premiere last week was because the Oxygen Network messed it up.

"Paris is furious that the show didn't premiere at the time it was supposed to," an insider tells Pop Eater. "She worked her tail off doing promotion and publicity for the show and then because of a technical mistake, the show aired at a completely different time in a lot of markets."

World According to Paris Still

In response, an Oxygen spokesperson says: HUH?

"The show premiered at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 as was promoted," this individual said in a statement. "There were no technical mistakes. We look forward to a very exciting run of the series."

And we look forward to a world without Paris, as the ratings for this disaster, along with the failed MTV series in which she desperately searched for a BFF, may finally make Hilton realize: she's old, pointless news.
