An '80s classic gets a modern twist on October 14, when the remake of the 1984 Kevin Bacon movie prances its way into theaters and attempts to sashay its way into audiences' hearts.
In the revamp, newcomer Kenny Wormald plays big-city transplant Ren, who arrives in rural Southern hamlet Bomont and undertakes a campaign to teach a small, uptight town how to dance again. (Fun fact: Wormald was born in 1984 -- in case you didn't feel old enough already.)
