Congrats Gemma Ward! The ex-supe's acting career is really taking off, with the WA born beauty confirmed as taking the part of Catherine (Myrtle Wilson's sister for those who've read the book) in Baz Luhrmann's much anticipated remake of The Great Gatsby. Building on the success of Black Balloon, her singing part in Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and most recently her leading role in The Ugly One which played in Perth, Gemma looks to have (sadly) left the world of modelling behind her. She of the wide-spaced-eyes will star alongside Carey Mulligan and Leonardo DiCaprio in the blockbuster. Can't wait until the Christmas 2012 release date?
