Mark Halperin must be watching too much Tracy Morgan stand-up.
During a live appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe today, the political analyst was asked about President Obama's behavior yesterday during a meeting with Republicans, inquired about whether or not the show was on a seven-second delay and then said:

Halperin, who co-authored the book "Game Change," has been suspended indefinitely by the network and said in a statement:
"I want to offer a heartfelt and profound apology to the president, to my MSNBC colleagues, and to the viewers. My remark was unacceptable, and I deeply regret it."

MGM has signed a long-term distribution agreement with Forum Film covering several Eastern European and Middle Eastern countries, the companies announced on Thursday.
The deal includes both theatrical and DVD and Blu-ray rights, and includes Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Israel

We really shouldn't post this story under our "music" tag.
But Countess LuAnn de Lesseps has released the official video for "Chic C'est La Vie," the track she hopes will ratchet up her non-existent singing career.
The Countess received help from from Real Housewives of New York castmates Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon, but couldn't believe they were the only ones to volunteer.
"It was very disappointing that the other ladies wouldn't be part of it. The other girls didn't come, they didn't think it was appropriate. I didn't want anyone to feel like they were being excluded so I invited everyone. And let's face it, I sing about them in the song."
The term "sing" is used VERY loosely, as you can see/listen to here:

Mel White & Mike White eliminated from "Amazing Race 18" in episode 3. Tonight's show kicked off with scenes from last week's episode when Amanda & Kris got eliminated. Then the teams had to fly to Tokyo,Japan,and make their way to a certain parking garage to get their next clue. Zev & Justin took off first since they arrived in first place in the last episode. Once they got their clue, the teams had to drive to a different town,and eventually make their way to the Yabusame Dojo were they faced a Road Block. In the Road Block, the teams had to dress as a Samurai ,learn to perform a special ritual. It's been a pretty good year for TV news.
Whether it was the British royal wedding, Osama bin Laden's death, the Japanese tsunami, or perhaps even Charlie Sheen, more people have tuned in so far this year to all three nightly network newscasts, as well as MSNBC and CNN, than did so during the same period in 2010.
CNN and MSNBC earned significant increases in viewership, though both lag far behind first-place Fox News, according to Nielsen numbers released Tuesday.
With Prince William and Catherine Middleton's official tour of Canada kicking off in just a few days, we thought we'd play stylist for Kate and re-vamp her travelling wardrobe. Not to say that we don't love the Duchess' recent choice of sleek coats, flirty frocks and glam gowns, but there's always room for improvement. Amber Rose has taken to Twitter to shake her head over allegations that she tried to steal Nicki Minaj's boyfriend via a series of nude cell phone pics.
The rumor broke yesterday that Rose was caught in a bedroom a few months ago with Safaree, the guy Minaj was dating at the time. Allegedly, the rapper proceeded to check her man's phone and find a slew of VERY racy, VERY naked photos of the short-haired model.
In response, Rose has lashed out at the celebrity gossip world and Tweeted:
"These blogs do nothing but try to ruin ppls lives I DID NOT send pics to anyones boyfriend pls stop with the lies. Its so ridiculous. smh. Yall been doing this to me for 3 years now it shld be illegal to write fake stories about ppl the media never wants to see anyone happy."
Of course, she didn't deny that photos of her in the buff are out there, which is a good thing. She might as well be honest. There's no denying THIS.

Brooke Mueller was found wandering the streets of Maui this month, clutching cash.
But apparently it wasn't enough, as the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen has submitted court documents that demand Warner Bros. withhold $55,000 per month from whatever it owes the actor; Mueller is not confident he will be able to meet his child support obligations.
Sheen is not actually behind on his payments, mind you.
But insiders say Mueller wants to take every precaution she can and has asked the studio to wire the monthly figure directly into her bank account. Hopefully that will give the troubled star something to smile over.
As you can see above, crying appears to be Brooke's default action during every appearance on The World According to Paris.

Julie Benz of Dexter and No Ordinary Family fame is engaged to her boyfriend of four years, marketing executive Rich Orosco, her rep confirmed last night.
Orosco popped the question Sunday in the yard of their L.A home. Nearly 60 family members and friends helped celebrate at a surprise party he planned.
"It was absolutely perfect," says Benz, who can next be seen on Royal Pains.
Benz was previously married to actor John Kassir from 1998-2007.
"The proposal was simple and beautiful. I was shocked by the pop-up surprise Mexican fiesta engagement party," she says, adding, "What girl doesn't want to be serenaded by a Mariachi band surrounded by close friends and family?"
A fair point. Congratulations to the couple!

Glastonbury's annual music festival commenced last Thursday, bringing with it a killer lineup that included The Streets, U2, Beyonc�, The Chemical Brothers, The Queens of the Stone Age (amongst others!) and the wellie-clad celebs who love them. We must give a shoutout to the festival goers, who braved the mud -�a lot of mud - for four days of killer bands and festival parties, and showed us how music festival style is done. We couldn't finish off this week's Accessories Amore special without giving a shout out to the very talented Rachael Ruddick. The ex-manager of Christian Dior and Moet & Chandon in Australia turned her deft hand to designing, and her eponymous label does Australia proud on the global luxury accessories market. Since setting up shop in Sydney in 2008, Ms Ruddick's line has come to include a line of now signature cuffs and jewellery, as well as handbags, but it's her luxe leather goods that we thought were best to introduce you to first.
