Daphne Guinness is no wallflower! The queen of couture will team up with Barneys New York to stage a six week 'Fashion as Art' series of performances - the most intriguing being her getting frocked up in the Madison Avenue flagship's windows for the Costume Institute Gala. Daphne is known for her avant-garde get ups, and as the Costume Institute bash is one of the most anticipated events on the fashion calendar (Anna Wintour organizes), we're sure that Ms Guinness will put on a great show! As part of the installation, pieces from Daphne's famed wardrobe will be on display, as well as a documentary on her style. We'd love to hop to NYC on May 2nd to see her sartorial styling in action, but are betting that pictures of Daphne in all states of undress will make their way to us in a New York minute!
