Um, exquease me? The sheer dress that Kate Middleton wore way back in 2002 sold yesterday at the Kate Taylors Auction Passion for Fashion sale for a whopping $127,000 (approx AUD). The knit frock (well, actually it was a skirt that Kate pulled up) was modelled by Ms Middleton at a fashion parade at St. Andrews University nine years ago. Prince Will spied Kate in the revealing number, designed by Charlotte Todd, and apparently that's what sparked the royal romance. We understand this is now a piece of fashion history, and with the Royal Wedding only a month away excitement is reaching fever pitch in the UK so it's no surprise that it's gone under the hammer for a pretty penny.
