By popular demand, and after garnering much criticism, a Florida county is putting the racy romance trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey back on library shelves.
Before reversing its decision, the Brevard County Library System was perhaps the most prominent of the many bans of the book occurring nationwide.
The county pulled 19 copies of the best-sellers from its bookshelves earlier this month, calling the popular novels by EL James "semi-pornographic."
Monday, the county announced that Fifty Shades of Grey would be available immediately through the library in response to requests from residents.
Library Services Director Cathy Schweinsberg said that the library was against censorship and was reviewing its selection criteria after negative feedback.
Public libraries in several states have banned the book, saying it's too steamy or poorly written. It's definitely the latter, though you can't ban it for that.
Bottom line: Sometimes you gotta lighten up and give the people what they want ... mind-numbingly cheesy, Twilight fan fiction-inspired softcore erotica.
As soon as Universal won the movie rights to the best-selling "mommy porn" trilogy, fans have partaken in an intense, ongoing fantasy casting game.

Cynthia Nixon is celebrating more than Memorial Day weekend in the States - the Sex and the City actress married her long-time partner Christine Marinoni on Sunday! Cynthia?s rep confirmed the news in a statement, saying, ?On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.? Cynthia, who has two children with photographer Danny Mozes, was engaged to Christine for three years. Christine gave birth to their son, Max, in February 2011. Congrats to the couple!

Flavor Flav needs to cough up $111,186 in child support payments to the mother of three of his seven kids or face jail time, news sources say.
“It was declared a willful violation,” an official said of his failure to pay child support ... which can't be good. He faces up to 180 days behind bars.
The rapper didn't show up for a hearing last week, so an Albany, N.Y. magistrate recommended his driver's license and passport be revoked.
While Flav, 53, is required to pony up $837.72 a week to baby-mama Angie Parker for child support ... he clearly hasn't done so in some time.
This isn't the first time the outspoken, likely insane rapper has slipped up on child support payments. Parker sued Flav in 2010 for $63,458.
Before his second career as a ridiculous VH1 reality show star, Flav was a member of Public Enemy. He served 90 days in jail in 1993 for shooting at his neighbor.
The Flavor of Love star and House of Flavor restaurant owner is due back in court June 19 to answer the charges ... we'll see if he shows.

Then the teams had to fly to Tokyo,Japan,and make their way to a certain parking garage to get their next clue. Zev & Justin took off first since they arrived in first place in the last episode. Once they got their clue, the teams had to drive to a different town,and eventually make their way to the Yabusame Dojo were they faced a Road Block. In the Road Block, the teams had to dress as a Samurai ,learn to perform a special ritual. For her part Beyonc頤elivered a two-hour set of her hottest tracks. From one of her more recent hits, "Run the World" to "Single Ladies" and "Halo" she kept the crowd on their feet all night. Perhaps one of the most surprising moments of the night came at the end of the show when Beyonc頳hared new personal photos and film clips, including an image of the singer holding baby Blue in her arms.

"American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips had kidney surgery eight times during his journey to victory, his father revealed after Wednesday's finale. And he's not done with the doctors just yet.
Phillips was plagued by kidney stones as he strummed and sang his way to the "Idol" title, though his chronic health issues nearly knocked him out of the running.
